THE DEVIL'S NOSE TRAIN RIDE

DAY 01 We leave Quito early in the morning and drive south along the route called "The Avenue of the Volcanoes", where we can see at least 11 snowy peaks of mountains and volcanoes. On the way we will visit a typical Indian Market and admire rare fruits, herbs, baskets, ponchos, wooden spoons, seesal bags and much more. Lunch in Ambato. PM we continue to Riobamba where we visit the little town of Guano, which is very famous for its rugs and carpets. Overnight. (L-D)

DAY 02 Breakfast. Very early in the morning we go to the Riobamba train station in order to start with our fascinating train ride to Guamote - Alausi - Devil's Nose - Alausi. In this trip we will see the most beautiful highlands landscape of the country. Box Lunch and return to Quito. Arrive in Quito and stay overnight. (B-L)

DAY 03 Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for international flight or extension program. (B)
